Dale Sydney Allen, 77
Dale went to be with his Lord & Savior on March 28th, 2018 peacefully with his family by his side. He was born in La Grande, Oregon January 10, 1941, graduated from Reynolds High in Troutdale in 1959, & went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad. Dale & Joyce were married on August 15, 1964. He enjoyed horseback riding in the mountains, hunting with friends & family, studying his Bible, & serving people through his church.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents Melvin & Doris Allen & grandson Jonathan. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce of Sandy, sisters Barbara (Orien) Weller of Idaho & Judy Ricks of Sandy, son Timothy of Fairview, daughter Kristina (James) Buschkamp of Portland, grandchildren Ashley & Austin, great granddaughter Audrina, as well as loving extended family. Dale was a loving father, husband, brother, grandfather & friend to all.
Graveside service will be held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery on April 8th at 3pm followed by a Memorial Service at Good Shepherd Community Church in Boring. Flowers can be sent to Aftercare Cremation and Burial Service (1304 E Powell Blvd, Gresham, Oregon) or memorial donations can be made to Good Shepherd Deacon Fund.
