The joy he felt waiting for a new episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog carried into adulthood, showing up in his love for adventure-like talking about skydiving again one day so he could eventually try a wingsuit. He was also loyal to his favorite hobbies, especially his love for horror films. Movie nights-almost every night-were a must. One of his favorite franchises was Jeepers Creepers, a series he could watch over and over without ever tiring of it. He would often convince others, including Carlos and Samantha, to watch horror films with him-encouraging them, as he liked to say, "to relax."

His spontaneity and cleverness also showed in the special handshake he created with his mother, Angelica-whom he lovingly called "Madre Sagrada." Each time they saw each other, they added new moves, turning it into a playful challenge that often ended in laughter.
